Soccer Future Watch: Fares Chaibi Soccer Cards, Eintracht Frankfort – Fares Chaibi is a very promising young winger/midfielder of French and Algerian heritage. He began his career in the youth ranks of SC Bron Terraillon and AS Bron. Next up, a stint at the FC Lyon youth academy before coming into his own at the Toulouse youth academy. There, Chaibi greatly impressed through a stretch of friendly games with three goals and two assists.
Debuting for Les Violets in professional play on August 7, 2022, Chaibi had the honor of participating in the franchise’s return to Ligue 1. Less than six weeks later, Chaibi helped his team to defeat Lille with his first goal. Chaibi culminated a strong season by capturing the Coupe de France, the club’s first ever.
On August 30, 2023, Eintracht Frankfort acquired Chaibi’s services with a lucrative five-year contract. Shortly thereafter, Chaibi posted initial goals in Bundesliga and Conference League play. He finished his league season with two goals and four assists. Also, that year, Chaibi debuted with the Algerian national team in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying and then in tournament play.
Appreciated for versatility in his attacking capabilities, as well as his passing and pace, Chaibi is still only beginning to show signs of the kind of player that he will ultimately become. Having stated that he made the move to Bundesliga when he did to get out of his comfort zone, this young star is growing all the time into something even more.
On the market since 2023, Chaibi’s cards and stickers have been under the banners of Donruss, Donruss Optic and Select FIFA. Parallels and inserts are available. The most highly-valued selections on eBay include the Select FIFA Gold Prizm and Topps Chrome Bundesliga dual card that includes Chaibi and Willian Pacho.
